I picked up a Canon 50 mm f/1.8 prime, and now see the power of good glass. Amazing in low light too. Here are a few first snaps.

Took a trip to the capital to indulge in some festival atmosphere and say bon voyage to a good friend who is Canada bound.

Spent the last three weeks in Northern Spain, near Santander. Very relaxing apart from a nasty bit of sunburn (aka the Scottish tan) at the folks cassa.

I spent so much time on the couch with nothing to do so I did a little drawing. Fun! I out of practice but can still create a little something…
